Japanese Garden, Jarków

Overview
The Japanese Garden in Jarków is a privately created Japanese-style garden in the village of Jarków, near Lewin Kłodzki. The local Lewin Kłodzki tourism page states that the garden was created in 1980 by Edward and Lucyna Majcher, who designed and built it themselves. It is described as small, carefully maintained and densely composed, using every part of the site.
History
Edward Majcher began creating the garden around his house in 1980. Later garden descriptions state that he designed the layout and carried out almost all the work himself. The garden has been open to visitors since 2003, and is often described as one of Poland’s notable publicly accessible Japanese gardens.
Design features
The garden includes shaped trees, small hills and slopes, flat-stone paths, moss terraces, winding streams, ponds, small waterfalls, stones and carefully arranged planting. The garden’s own site notes that it continues to change, with new plant species, stones, ponds and small waterfalls being added over time.

Current status
Extant privately created Japanese garden, open to visitors seasonally. It remains a small but well-known public visitor garden in south-western Poland, with ticketed access during the main garden season.
