The article describes the garden in Zuisen Temple in Kamakura, Japan. Zuisen-hi was built from 1327 to 1332 as the family temple of the Kumakura shogunate and its first garden was developed by the Zen Buddhist priest Muso Soseki. The garden features a small pond, a waterfall, a meditation cell carved as a cave in the base of a mountain, and an arbor for meditation and shelter on top of the mountain.
