| Abstract |
This paper discusses the characteristics of Japanese gardens and compares them with gardens of Korea Republic, China and Western countries from a design viewpoint, stressing the relationships between humans and nature. Subjects considered include the overall composition of gardens, the relations between indoor and outdoor spaces, ground and pavement, ponds and streams, and tree forms. |
